A warm welcome to our family-run Berner Berghaus, where we pour our heart and soul into every detail with authenticity!
Our historic house boasts over 160 years of history and captivates with its rustic charm and cozy corners. Four individually designed rooms invite you to arrive and feel completely at ease – while you won’t find luxury in the conventional sense here, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Our Rooms

1. “Zurich” (2 persons)

• Double bed (1.80 m)
• Charismatic room for restful sleep
• Shower in the room (shower curtain) and washbasin, toilet 2 meters away from the room

2. “Bern” (3 persons)

• Double bed plus sofa bed
• Shower in the room (shower curtain) and washbasin
• Separate toilet with door in the room

3. “Lucerne” (3 persons)

• 2 single beds and a sofa bed
• Separate bathroom in the room with shower, washbasin, and toilet
• TV in the room

4. “Geneva” (4 persons - small room)

• Double bed (1.60 m) and 2 single beds (1.90 m long)
• Ideal for sleeping (not for standing, ceiling height 1.90 m)
• Separate bathroom in the room with shower, washbasin, and toilet

Restaurant & Breakfast

Our restaurant serves hearty Rösti variations in a rustic atmosphere until 8:00 PM (hot meals served until 7:30 PM) – perfect for winding down your day in the mountains.

In the morning, you’ll find a rich breakfast buffet to fuel you for your hikes. The direct starting point to highlights such as Engstlensee, the Trift Bridge, and many more!
